Kilo Ampere Linear Injector is the abbreviation for KALI. The weapon is configured in such a way that it can be used to soft-kill missiles and airplanes. The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre created it (BARC). The project was primarily intended for industrial reasons, but its many capabilities contributed to its development into a lethal weapon.
