A French naval delegation, led by Rear Admiral Jacques Fayard, the French Joint Forces Commander in the Indian Ocean, visited Mumbai on Monday to meet Vice-Admiral Hari Kumar, the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Indian Navy’s Western Naval Command.
The two leaders discussed the growing collaboration between the Indian and French navies, focusing on maritime security and improving interoperability in the Indian Ocean region.
