Bandipora Grenade Attack: At least six civilians were injured in a grenade attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora.

Six people were injured today when militants fired a grenade at Sumbal bridge in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora region.


According to official reports, the terrorists attempted to strike security troops with a grenade, but the grenade missed its objective and landed in a passenger vehicle.


"Terrorists tossed a grenade at the Army convoy at bus stand Sumbal around 10:20 a.m., but it missed the objective and exploded on the roadside," a police officer said.


He said that the injured were transferred to SMHS hospital, where their condition was described as stable.


At the scene of the incident, security personnel are present.
