Eastern Air Command Chief Reviews Operational Preparedness in Two IAF Stations

Air Marshal DK Patnaik, Chief of the Eastern Air Command, visited the Indian Air Force (IAF) stations in Bagdogra and Bhuttabari in West Bengal on Sunday to assess operational readiness, a military spokeperson said. From October 28 to 30, the Air Marshal Commanding-in-chief eastern air command paid a visit to the stations.


"During his first visit to the stations, he conducted a check of the base's current operational readiness," a Spokeperson said in a statement.


"He also communicated with workers, urging them to train effectively and be prepared to carry out assigned jobs in a professional manner," the statement continued.
