Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya
One of the biggest achievements of Modi government is the construction of the Shri Ram Temple as it was also in the manifesto of the BJP and the poll promise is now well on its way to being fulfilled. PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the new Shri Ram Temple in August 2020 and as per the latest information available, it will be ready by 2023.
It is set to be inaugurated on January 24, 2020, just a few months before the next elections. BJP is proud that Ram Lalla will be reinstated in the garbha griha fulfilling the emotions of crores of Hindus.
August 5 became a historic day on Wednesday after Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya to set the construction of the grand Ram temple in motion, a reality that was the political and socio-religious dream of not just the BJP, but a vast section of Indians.

Abrogation of Article 370
Again on August 5, 2019, Union Home Minister Amit Shah passed the Bill in Parliament to abrogate Article 370 and to bring the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh into the mainstream. Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY)
It was during the first wave of COVID that PM Modi announced free rations for the marginalized section of society. The scheme was then extended during the second wave and was extended for another six months till March 2022. Through this scheme, 80 crore beneficiaries were given free ration each month. Although many people don't like freebies, but during the Covid period, economically weaker sections were struggling to get a one time meal, thus we also put this too into List of Achievements of the Modi Government till 2022.
The free food grain scheme or the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) was introduced by the Narendra Modi government during the first nationwide lockdown due to Covid-19 in March 2020.

Under this scheme, the center provides 5kg of free food grains per month to the poor. This is in addition to the subsidized (Rs 2-3 per kg) ration provided under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) to families covered under the Public Distribution System (PDS).
PMGKAY caters free food grain, either rice or wheat, to over 80 crore beneficiaries of NSFA.
Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
As India marks its 75th year of independence the government has launched an umbrella program "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" that is being celebrated across the country recognizing all those who contributed to India's struggle for freedom. The campaign highlights the contribution of unsung heroes of the nations.
Right from programs being organized by the Ministry of Culture to the Film Festival at Cannes where India was the Country of Honour, India has shown its prowess as a democracy and also demonstrated its rich cultural heritage.List of Achievements of the Modi Government till 2022
At Abhay Ghat, the PM launched the 'Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav', a series of events to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India's Independence. This is also a noteworthy achievement of the Modi government.

The PM said that the Mahotsav is a tribute to India's freedom fighters and freedom struggle.
The PM also inaugurated a website of the 'Amrit Mahotsav' and an 'Aatmanirbhar Incubator'. The incubator aims to support 40,000-odd families of traditional crafts.
As part of the Mahotsav, the PM also flagged off a 25-days long 'padayatra' in remembrance of the Dandi March.
Rescue operations from Afghanistan and Ukraine

Another key achievement of the government has been the rescue operation carried out in war-hit Ukraine. The central government safely evacuated around 23,000 students including some foreign nationals. Four union ministers were sent as special envoys to the neighboring nations of Ukraine to monitor the rescue operations.
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi
Through this scheme, Rs, 6,000 is directly transferred to the bank account of farmers in three installments of Rs 2,000 per year. The 11th installment will be transferred to farmers on May 31 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Shimla.
Notably, the government has also withdrawn the controversial farm laws as a mark of gesture and respect for the farmers. The Prime Minister said that it was unfortunate that he was not able to explain the benefit of reforms to the farmers.
Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana
This scheme that provides affordable housing to all, was launched by the Modi government in 2015. As per the available data till the end of March 2020, more than 2 crore people have been provided homes under the scheme.
The BJP has also tasted electoral success in several states including forming government in Assam for the second time in a row. The party fared badly in Tamil Nadu and Kerala but was able to form a government in Puducherry.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government launched the nationwide vaccination program in the tough times of COVID-19. Said to be the world's largest vaccination drive, India so far administered over 193 crore doses of the COVID vaccine.
The country has also managed to vaccinate most of its adolescent population between 15 to 18 years of age. India has also been successfully running its campaign for precautionary doses to its adult citizens.
India developed indigenous vaccines in the shortest time.
The country is not just vaccinating its people but has also extended a helping hand to neighboring nations by providing vaccines through the Vaccine Maitri scheme.

Abolition of Triple Talaq: Pro-women reform
One of the most substantial political achievements of the Modi government in its second term in office has been the passage of the triple talaq bill in Parliament, a law that made instant triple talaq a criminal offense.
The triple talaq law, formally called the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act, 2019, was passed on August 1, 2019, after intense debates in Parliament.
The fact that the BJP could get the Bill passed in Rajya Sabha where it did not have a majority showed the astute political management of the ruling party which had retained power in 2019 with a historic mandate.
Surgical Strike and Balakot Air Strikes
In September 2016, the Indian Army launched surgical strikes against terrorist camps in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. The strike on September 28, 2016, was in response to an attack by Pakistan-based terrorists on an army base in Kashmir’s Uri on September 18 in which 19 soldiers were killed.
In an interview with news agency ANI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed the details of the military action saying that the date of the attack was changed twice, keeping in mind the safety and security of the troops.

The National Education Policy replaced the 34-year-old National Policy on Education which was framed in the year 1986. It was approved by the Union Cabinet on 29 July 2020 in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Modi.
The new education policy aims to bring about transformational reforms in school and higher education systems to make India a global knowledge superpower.
The process of formulating a New Education Policy by the Government had initiated via a consultation process for an inclusive, participatory, and holistic approach.
After an unprecedented formulation of consultation, New National Education Policy 2020 has been formulated and it involved around 2 lakh suggestions from 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats, 6600 Blocks, 6000 ULBs, and 676 Districts. In January 2015, the MHRD initiated an unprecedented collaborative, inclusive, and highly participatory consultation process.
