Tehran (IRAN) : Hours after counter-demonstrations were organized by the government, protests erupted in Iran for the seventh consecutive night on Friday in response to the murder of a young woman detained by the morality police. An organization with its headquarters in Oslo called Iran Human Rights said that at least 50 people had been killed by security forces during the anti-government demonstrations, which is more than three times the official death toll of 17, which includes five security officers.
