Salman Khan's latest release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, is currently undergoing the 'Monday test', which is a crucial day for films released on a Friday. This test is important because the initial three days, which usually include the release day and the weekend, heavily impact a film's collection and are proportionate to the star power it is released with.
However, if a movie sustains well on its first Monday, it shows that its success is not purely based on star power. Aamir Khan's Thugs Of Hindostan, for instance, collected 50.75 crores on its first day in 2018 and went on to collect 134 crores in its first week, and a lifetime collection of 145 crores, despite being rejected by audiences.

Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, on the other hand, is looking like it will pass the Monday test with the kind of numbers it is attracting at the box office. Despite an underwhelming opening day collection of 15.81 crores, the film saw a historic jump on day 2, with a 62.89% increase, collecting 25.75 crores. The film then maintained this streak on day 3, earning 26.61 crores.
Now, on day 4, the film has sustained its momentum and has earned an estimated 9-11 crore, which is a respectable drop compared to its projected earnings on day 1. This should take Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan's total box office collection to somewhere in the range of 77-79 crore.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan features Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, and Siddharth Nigam as Salman Khan's brothers, with Pooja Hegde playing the female lead. Venkatesh and Jagapathi Babu also feature in the film as Bhagyalaxmi's relatives who conflict with a criminal. The film is directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Salman Khan Films. It is a remake of the Tamil film Veeram (2014).
While the film has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences, its box office performance seems to be on the right track. As with all box office numbers, these figures are based on estimates and various sources, and have not been independently verified.
